Bellisario Award 2025: Elena Moglia honored with the Golden Apple

The 2025 Marisa Bellisario Award—one of Italy’s most prestigious honors celebrating female leadership—shined a spotlight this year on technological innovation and industrial sustainability. Among the recipients of the coveted Golden Apple , awarded annually to women who stand out in management, economics, science, and social impact, is Elena Moglia, CEO and co-founder of MyLime , an innovative SME based in Cremona and Bologna.

Elena Moglia was recognized in the category dedicated to small enterprises for leading a project that seamlessly blends technology, strategic vision, and social responsibility. MyLime has developed a proprietary platform for managing the Digital Product Passport —a system that assigns each product a unique, traceable, and verifiable digital identity using blockchain technology.

This recognition from the 2025 Bellisario Award validates the value of a business model rooted in transparency, ethics, and real-world impact. “Our mission is clear: to make the production chain more robust, transparent, and capable of highlighting every single step,” Moglia stated. “The Bellisario Award is not just a milestone—it’s a powerful signal in favor of innovation driven by values and responsibility.”

Founded in 2018, MyLime works with international brands and leading academic institutions such as Università Cattolica and Bocconi University, contributing to the development of digital transition skills. The company also takes part in major global events, including VivaTech in Paris and the Nest Climate Campus at the United Nations, showing a consistent commitment to shaping global agendas in both technology and sustainability.

Since 2024, Elena Moglia has been a member of the Corporate Advisory Board at Rome Business School, alongside major players such as Jaguar Land Rover, Adidas, and Deloitte. The Marisa Bellisario Award—presented this year in partnership with Intesa Sanpaolo, which has allocated €1 billion to support women’s entrepreneurship—celebrates not only Elena’s personal journey but also the achievements of a team that has successfully merged innovation and impact.

The Bellisario Award to Elena Moglia highlights the importance of supporting and promoting women-led business models that drive real innovation and generate value—both inside the company and far beyond. MyLime stands as a concrete example of how technology can serve as a tool for transformation, transparency, and cultural—as well as industrial—progress.
